We really took advantage of Marks' days off this week, and we went to visit my Grandma and Grandpa up in Santa Clara, Utah (right near St. George).
It is just SO beautiful there, and we LOVE visiting. It is only about two hours away, and it feels like a wonderful "mini-vacation"!
The kids are always excited to visit their Great Grandparents-who are always so generous in opening up their beautiful home to us (Thanks Grandpa & Grandma)!

Traveling really tires them out! :)
Brooklynne's favorite part of the trip was having a tea party with Grandma and Ryder. They drank lemonade and ate M&M's and peanuts.

They did crafts.
Played basketball...
And swam in their gorgeous pool!
I even taught Mark how to do a REALLY good back tuck!

And I mean REALLY good back tuck. He does it just like a "real" gymnast...Only a six foot gymnast! : ) He even did it off the waterfall AND spa! Pretty impressive-

They love to swim, jump off the diving board, and slide down the rock slide! FUN!

Here is my Little Man walking around like a big boy!

They also LOVE to jump on the trampoline although Brooki would rather jump alone! The boys make her a bit too nervous.

Those were some great pictures. You all look so happy. I love them all but my favorite....
(shedding a few tears typing)is my mother sitting with my grandchildren , her great grandchildren having a tea party. With Mothers Day around the corner it reminds me of what an awesome example my mother has been to so many mothers. Her love, devotion and quiet strength. Her example to stop-drop and enjoy those precious moments is one of the most favorite gifts my mother shares. Mark and Katie I am so glad to see all the blessings in your life....the beauty of family, nature, extended family, health, strength and our Heavenly Fathers love. We miss you but love your family blog. Love Nonnie and Grandpa Mark
Come more often so we can see your cute kids. My kids had a ball with yours. I had a great time on the sidelines myself.:)
I want to go to grandma and grandpa's. Their house is beautiful and full of fun stuff for the kids. Like always :) Looked like a fun mini vacation.
Oh St. George is so much fun. We love going there, too. I think that my parent's are so great that we would all love their home even if there wasn't so much to do there. I think we'd all love having tea parties with my Mom and playing in their toy room.
Your kids look adorable and they look like they had a great time. Annabelle and Brooklyn have so many of the same dresses, it cracks me up. You have great taste!
