Father's Day 2010

We had an extremly successful Father's Day this year! :) Mark and I both worked our tails off the day before because we were hosting his Dad, two brothers, two nephews, one niece, his best friend and his wife, and their adorable baby. We had a full house, and that made it far more fun. We love having family and friends over on the holidays. It definitly makes our house feel like our home. :) Mark has worked so hard to to provide for our family. We love our house SO much and are so thankful Mark has been able to provide for us. We are approaching our eight year anniversary, and I feel like we have accomplished so much, and this Father's Day felt perfect. It felt complete.

Mark woke up to a delicious breakfast: Creme Brulè French Toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Unfortunatly, after that he had to head to work while the kids and I went to church. The kids looked adorable singing, and even though Mark wasn't there to hear them, I enjoyed every minute of it!

*I got to church 15 minutes early so I sat my bags down, went outside, and filmed the kids singing "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home." Then I sent it in a text to Mark! :) I guess that's the next best thing to Mark being there, right? ;) If I ever figure out how, I will post it.

When we got home from church, Mark was already home! Yeah! He read the kid's "Daddy Interviews" that they did in Primary (which I need to post about, but they need their very own post for sure-HILARIOUS). Then, they all skewered fruit kabobs while I finished making everything else. We had a Hawaiian theme to honor our "Big Kahuna's." We ate Soy Lime Tri Tip, Bengal Beef Kabobs, fruit kabobs, apples dipped in yogurt, a delicious Cole slaw mix, and rootbeer floats for dessert. Mark really enjoyed spending time with his Dad, 2 of his older brothers (one was missing), and his best friend. After everyone left and the house was caught up, Mark and I were exhausted! We fell asleep around 9:15-WAY early for us! :) It was such a great Father's Day. Now, we start our Summer fun as we anxiously await July 8th...Kaden's last day of school!

Wow! That sounds like an awesome Father's Day! All of that food sounds super delicious. So the easiest way to post a video is via youtube. What you do is upload your video there. Then when it's done go to the video's page and click the embed button that is right under it. It will open a drop down menu and a some information to cut and paste. Go to blogger and start a new post. Type whatever you want and when you want to put the video in go to the Edit HTML tab and paste the video information in. Then all you have to do is go back to the compose tab to finish your post. I hope that helps! Also, if you just want the video posted you could just go to youtube and click the share button under your video and click on blogger. I personally don't like this option because it's not very stable and can be a little buggy. Okay, well, hope that helps!
