Valentine's Day 2011

Happy Beloved (and belated) Valentine's Day!  We had an amazing day.  I am squeezing in this post before heading out the door so I don't have much time to write, but trust me when I said it was a PERFECT Valentine's Day. :)

We woke up, got dressed in our festive colors, ate our PINK breakfast (Strawberry Frosted Mini-Wheats), opened our Valentine's and headed off to school.

Brooklynne got her "Big Eyed Monkey" from Daddy.

Ryder brought home a ton of loot from school.

Here is a picture of Kaden headed to school.

At noon, we ate our tasty RED and PINK lunch.

I even packed RED and PINK Valentine lunches for Mark and Kaden.

Mark got me a lovely boquet of "Laker" flowers! ;)

At Brooklynne's preschool, they got to dress up like a maillwoman/mailman and deliver their Valentine's.  SOOO cute!

Grayson joined in the fun too!

After Kaden came home from school, we went to Metro Pizza for heart-shaped pizza!  Delicious!

We hope you had a ROCKIN' Valentine's!

We love you!

What a great day! I love the postmaster get up and all the Valentine's food. You've got a good thing going over there!

Oh cute, I love that you kept everything red and pink all day and then Mark sent you Lakers colored flowers. Too funny! I almost did those same ipod Valentines with my kids, but then chickened out because the schools are so psycho about bringing peanut butter in. Now I wish I would have done them and used something else for the PB cups, because they really are so cute.

Katie,
Everything you did today was great. Brooklyn looks so cute in her Valentine's outfit, and in her Mailman uniform. I love that little brother had to be the mailman, too. Your red and pink breakfast and lunch were good ideas, and dinner at the pizza place with heartshaped pizzas looked like fun.
Your family looks adorable and I can tell you're having a good time being such a good Mom.
I love seeing all that you do.
