Happy Halloween 2011

I can't believe Halloween was almost a week ago!  It was a crazy, busy week, but it was a BLAST! We hope you all had a scary Halloween!  If you didn't this post should help! :)

Brooklynne as The Bride Of Chucky,
Grayson as Chucky,
Ryder as Jason,
and Kaden as Freddie Krueger.

Mark gutted out our garage and turned it into a haunted house this year (which turned out to be a HUGE hit!).  Obviously, we stuck to a scary theme! LOL This kids had SO much fun playing the freaky part of the "bad guys."  This may have to become a tradition...

Now, that you saw their freaky cute costumes, I will post about all the rest of the fun that filled our final days of October.

*Pumpkin Carving*

I didn't have candles the first part of the night, when the kids finished there pumpkins, so I forgot to get pictures of their finished products-oops.  The Littles liked their pumpkins because Mark and I helped them.  Grayson picked a wolf, and Brooklynne picked a cat.  Ryder did an amazing job all by himself.  He picked a stencil of a skull, I taped it on, he poked the holes in the pattern, and then he cut it out.  Mark only had to help him push out a few of his carved pieces.  He was SO proud of how his came out (and so were we).  Kaden on the other hand...LOL...He tried to carve his own face with an eye patch, and he really wants to use a pattern next year. :) It was cute to see them all try so hard!

This was my creepy hand from the grave pumpkin.

This was Mark's Darth Vader pumpkin.

And, I HAD to post my friend Ashli's pumpkin because it is of Edward and Bell. (I CAN'T WAIT FOR BREAKING DAWN!)

After pumpkin carving, we went to Ihop for free Scary Face Pancakes!

Thanks to the Martinez Family for joining us!

The pancakes were deliciously scary!

*More Halloween pictures up next...*

Your pumpkins are so good and you guys really made the most of Halloween. I do miss living somewhere warm where people make spook houses in their garages. In Wisconsin they give the kids candy and offer the parents a beer or a shot. For real. It's hilarious.
