Saturday Craft

Saturday is one of those day where you are SUPPOSED to do something fun, right? Well, at least I grew up thinking that! My Mom always did a wonderful job at planning some kind of fun activity for us, and now, here I am, a Mother of four, trying to do the same thing with my kids. My Saturdays are a little hard because Mark is at work, but I still manage to have a blast! Every Saturday, I take my kids to do a free craft at Lakeshore Learning Store (which I highly recommend. Just go to their website www.lakeshorelearning.com and see if they have a location near you! Crafts are every Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00, and they are FREE). Today we did stain glass. It was SO much fun, and my kids loved the way they could do it all by themselves. After craft, we always go to a playland (lately they choose McDonald's because they have that really cool "spy gear" in the Happy Meals. Despite having to rescue Brooklynne from the top of a three story playland-with my three month old baby in my arms-it was a really wonderful, fun day!
