Well, the first day of school is officially over (we are headed upstairs for bath and bedtime as soon as I am done blogging), and it was WONDERFUL! Kaden had such a great time at school, and he was allowed to choose where we would go to eat after (this has become a tradition of ours since Kaden started Prek two years ago). Of course he chose McDonald's with a playland which is always fun!
After that, we watched a lightning and thunderstorm which resulted in a MAJOR down pour of rain for a good ten minutes-they come and go pretty quickly over here. We could not resist the chance to take advantage of a perfectly good rain storm, and so my boys scurried as fast as they could to find their rain boots. They loved splashing around and catching the "lemon drops and gumdrops" on their tongues. Brooklynne would not go into the rain because every time she would a HUGE crack of thunder would sound and scare her half to death! As for Grayson, he was fast asleep in the protection of his very own car seat! It was a wonderful way to end a very special day.
