Yesterday, Mark was taking Ryder to preschool when they started to play 20 QUESTIONS (this is a tradition between Mark, Kaden, and Ryder. They always play on the way to school). The boy's favorite thing to do is to "stump" thier Daddy. Needless to say, they do not stump him often-but, today was different...Here is their converstion:
After some time of Mark trying to guess Ryder's animal, he told Ryder, "Ryder, I think you might have stumped me,"
Ryder: "Do you want a hint?"
Mark: "Sure."
Ryder: "I FLY, but I DO NOT have wings."
*Mark was still stumped*
Mark: "Are you a pet?"
Ryder: "YES, I am a pet for a VERY SPECIAL man!"
*Mark was still stumped*
Mark: "Hmmmm...If you do not have wings, how do you fly?" (note that this is not a yes or no question. NO cheating Daddy! LOL)
Ryder: "MAGIC!" (He was very, very serious.)
And there you have it folks....MARK WAS STUMPED!!!
Mark: "I give up."
Ryder: "I'm a REINDEER!"
Ryder is such a funny guy! He cracks us up. I came home, wrote down this incident, and snapped a couple of pictures of him. He looks tough in these pictures, not sweet, but do not let these photos fool you-Remember when I told you that my boys do not want to smile for pictures? Nothing has changed since then. :) They smile all day long but the moment I want to take a picture, they want to look tough. Another phase that I am enjoying-even if it means I don't get "smiley" pictures for a while...

That's so funny Katie! Ryder is very smart. I was trying to figure it out too. I think Jesse will like that one. I'll have to tell him about it. =)

How clever! I am glad you wrote that one down. Those are the cute things we hope to remember forever but sometimes forget. Now you've got it in black and white. Super cute!
