I got to took at this ALL weekend long! :)
Thanks to some amazing friends, we were lucky enough to take a "Get-Away" to the beautiful Brian Head, Utah. We got there Friday and stayed until Monday morning, and it was the most perfect Valentine's Day I could EVER ask for. I spent the entire weekend with the people I love most.
Here are some pictures of how we kept busy.....
This was the first night we arrived. Needless to say, the kids were THRILLED!
I have never seen so much snow. This was the walk way to the front porch.
One of my favorite parts of the weekend, was getting to lay on a big comfy couch next to these gorgeous windows. They had the most beautiful view!
On Valentine's Day, we played in the snow ALL morning, and then took naps. I have not had a nap in SO long! It felt great- :)
Later that night, we ate dinner, watched the NBA All Star game, and had S'Mores. I HAD to snap this picture of Mark. He had put those boots on so he could run outside and get fire wood. They looked pretty cute with his basketball shorts! LOL
The kids found lots of ways to stay busy....
*They played UNO.
*They played their DS's.
*They climbed around like monkeys.
*And, munched on S'Mores!
Does it get anymore perfect then that?
I have more great snow pictures to post, but I am feeling tired tonight. Tomorrow is Tuesday. Kaden goes back to school, and I go back to reality.....

Oh wow! I gotta admit, I'm just a tad jealous. It looks like you had a FABULOUS weekend!
Jim and Bree are amazing friends. They are so generous and kind. I was glad I got the chance to meet them. Happy Valentines Day in the snow with a rip roaring fire. Romantic for everyone even those silly kids ! PS Next time could you please put a GPS on Mark. LOL
Looks like so much fun. I really want to do a cabin snow trip with my family. The view was beautiful. What a perfect valentines weekend
How fun! I can't believe how much snow there was on that walkway. What a fun getaway for your family.
Katie,
I want more details about Mark's snowy misadventure. We've been trying to put it all together and we're amazed he survived, frankly. I was wondering how long he was separated from the group, and I just saw your comment on Julie's blog that answered my question. That is so long to be away from your group in the snow. I would have been panicky after two minutes.
