On March 16th, the day before St. Patrick's Day, Candice and Courtney brought their kids down to visit us! We missed McKenna (and the Husbands), but we had a BLAST together. We hung out and played on Wednesday night, and then the next morning-the real festivities began!
Happy (Late) St. Patrick's Day 2011!
The leprechaun came to visit and left lots of goodies....
For breakfast we ate Lucky Charms with green milk, green and white sprinkled Krispy Kream Donuts, and green scrambled eggs.
After breakfast, we got ready and went to one of our favorite parks.
Ashli and Owen came with, and it was so much fun having a big group together. I wish I had taken more pictures though because I only snapped these two.
Next up was a DELICIOUS lunch at Cafe Rio, but of course I don't have any cute pictures of this trip because I was too busy devouring my pork salad....Mmmmmmm....
We came home and let the kids play before heading to Buffalo Bills for our quick, fun overnight trip.
While at the hotel, we took a dip in the hot tub and ate our green snacks: bagels with green cream cheese, green pickles (a MAJOR hit), green chips, and green candy. The kids had so much fun splashing around in the jacuzzi.
Before heading to bed, we made a quick stop at McDonald's. The next morning (Friday) was supposed to be the end of our vacation, but plans changed when Ryder and Mark got tickets to that night's Laker game! We followed my sisters back to California for an ENTIRE weekend of fun! We played at My Gym (Thanks Alex), watched soccer games, ate King Taco, surprised my Mom and Mark, went to church, and went to my Mom's birthday party. Then on Sunday night, the party was over, and we came back home.
Thanks again for coming to visit! I love you guys so much, and it means the world to me each and every time you come to see us!
