Was Christmas Eve really three days ago? Boy have I got some catching up to do!
Christmas Eve turned out great. We thought we were going to have to celebrate by ourselves, but Mark's Uncle and his family ended up coming into town. We also had Mark's best friend Jesse, Ashli, and Baby Owen stop by. Having a full house made it THAT much more fun! We love having family join us. Thanks guys!
The kids started opening gifts (one at a time) at 6:00 pm, and they opened one per hour every hour until midnight. When we lived in California, we used to celebrate at midnight with Mark's side of the family. I thought this was an important tradition to carry on....And, the kids LOVED it! I mean who wouldn't want to open some gifts the day BEFORE Christmas?
They opened gifts from Grandpa Rich, Nonnie, Grandpa Mark, and Grandma Rosalie. They LOVED all their gifts! Thanks you to everyone for helping make this a special Christmas. We love you-
Although Brooklynne loved her gifts, she was a little obsessed with something else! :)
* By the way, Frosty is adjusting great. My only complaint would be the fact that he prefers Mark over me. I mean really-I beg for a cat-finally get one, and it prefers Mark over me! Not fair.*
Mark and I loved how our Christmas Eve turned out. I even cooked Mexican food to keep with Mark's side of the family tradtion. Now, anyone who knows me, knows I cannot cook-but, I have been getting SO much better. We had pinto beans ,Mexican Rice, Enchilada Casserole, and Tamales (We bought these). It was SO delicious!
Of course we had a good amount of sweets to top off such a successful night!
Tomorrow I will have to continue with more pictures from Christmas Day! Until then, good night.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one who is just getting around to posting about Chritmas Eve. It is amazing how much craziness we can cram in to just a few days. How fun to open so many presents on Christmas Eve.
Oooo that Christmas eve dinner looks SO good! I'm sitting here at 5 in the morning and now I want tamales!
