Everything Was GOBBLED Up

On Thanksgiving EVERYTHING was gobbled up.  The turkey, the mashed potatoes, the greenbeans, the sweet potatoes, the rolls, the stuffing, the pies-and even my camera!  I thought for sure it must have been gobbled up along with all of that delicious food (Thanks Aunt Erin).  We went to Sanata Clara,Utah to celebrate Thanksgiving, but when I got home I could not find my camera anywhere.....Until today.

And believe me, it truly was gobbled up-by that horrble monster called "the back seat of the car"!  Scary, I know!  I guess it somehow managed to topple out of my camera bag and very discretly hide it self under the back row of seats.  Hard to imagine, huh?  Anyway, I found it, and here are a few pictures from that wonderful weekend.

I was too busy stuffing my face to take pictures while eatting, but once I managed to put the fork down, I snapped some pictures of the group activites that followed the feast.

Above, Grandpa read a book to his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren (my four).

After the story, the kids and some of my witty uncles read parts of a play teaching us some history about this special day we give thanks.  Kaden loved being able to stand up and read outloud.

Then, it was on to a fun game of Guesstures.

Kaden and Ryder took their turn together.  Can you guess what they are acting out in the picture below?

.......mirror!  Pretty clever, huh?

I can't remember what Brooklynne was acting out, but I know it had NOTHING to do with that fancy dress she loves to wear while visiting her Great Grandparents!  :)

Grayson was just THRILLED to be part of the croud.  He LOVES to be in the middle of everyone and everything.  Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa.  There is nothing like being with family for the holidays.

It was such a great weekend!  We are now jumping into the Christmas Season, and the festivites have already begun-but thanks to my camera being gobbled up by my beast of a car, I will have to post about our ringing in December another day.

We were over at our new house on Thanksgiving and I couldn't help thinking that you were around there somewhere. :) I looks like your family had a great time together. I love that Brooklynne is wearing a princess dress. SO cute!

Thanksgiving was so much fun! I loved seeing you and your cute little family. I still can't get over Brookie's tumbling. I've been telling everyone about it. We had a great time, too!

Great blogging Katie-I'm glad the turkey I mean the car yakked up your camera. These picture really make me wish I was going home for Christmas. I am so so happy your family was able to be in Mom and Dads home. They create something special by just meaning them. I can hear my Dad's voice reading the story and I bet Mom was dishing up Dessert or doing something close by .
Happy Holidays-
