Yesterday, on our first day of Summer vacation, we met some friends at Chuck-E-Cheese's. It seemed like a great way to start the Summer fun. :)
It was a fun, relaxing time-as always!
Ashli and Own joined us, and Owen was being SO cute with Grayson. I had Grayson get close to him for a picture, and when he turned around and spotted him, he was so excited.
Then, he kept leaning over onto Grayson to give him "kisses." It was really cute. Thanks Ashli and Owen! We always love having you guys join us.
The kids enjoyed lots of games while I enjoyed lots of pizza, and hanging out with Ashli. :)
Grayson's favorite games are the games that have balls. Football. Skee-Ball. and especially basketball.
I don't think I have ever blogged about Ryder's love for Ashli-or as he calls her "Ash-a-Lee." He just adores her. The minute she shows up he is glued to her hip. Half the time Ryder and I end up "fighting" over who gets to talk to her! LOL There are many reasons he is "in-like" with her, but I will just name a couple. 1) She always takes the time to talk to him. No matter how busy she is, she will always take the time to sit and listen to Ryder talk about basketball. 2) She always texts him (through me). And, 3) She plays with him (see picture below).
Pair that with this cute little guy, and it is easy to see why we like to have them hangout with us.
After all that fun, we turned in our tickets, loaded up on the sweets, and packed up to go home.
Of course, I had four sticky little faces to clean up by the time we pulled up into our driveway. Grayson's was the worse, and I just had to take a picture of him. He was NOT happy that I wanted to take a picture of his messy face, but I couldn't help it. I think his angry pout made the picture even better! LOL

Summer is off to a good start and I am glad to see that I am not the only one who is amused and picture happy when I see a messy little face.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way you ended this post! Happy pictures of them having fun in the car, eating cotton candy then BAM! Grayson is super upset with cotton candy all over his face! hahah! I love it!

What a fun way to kick off the summer. Everyone looks like they had a great time. How many weeks off do your kids get? Did Kaden not get out until July, last year? I'm thinking they're on year round, is that right or no? Anyway, it looks like your summer is off to a great start. =D
Catte, it was a lot of fun! We did het off later because we were year round, but this year we switched to the traditional 9-month schedule. :) We don't go back until August 29th. Nice, long break.
