Summertime Fun

We survived our first week of Summer!  :)  We have had so much fun this week, and I am looking forward to a lot more fun!

  

Here is another look at our week:

*On our way to the park.*

We had a blast hanging out with a few other families from my ward.  I think we had at least 10 Moms show up! Needless to say, the kids LOVED running around with all their friends.  All that running around, and I only snapped one picture. LOL Oh well, I am sure we will be at the park again soon.

*Purple Penguin*

It just so happens that the park was right across the street from my favorite snow cone shack-Purple Penguin!  This place is DELICIOUS so if you are ever in the area, it's worth a stop.

*Our cousins came from California to visit!*

We were so excited to be able to spend some time with our cousins from California.  Thank you guys so much for coming over.  We love hanging out with you, and we always appreciate when you come to visit. (Thanks again Cathy!)

We also cooled off at the library during a drop-in story time.  We sang songs, read books, did puzzles, made crafts, checked out books, and built towers.  It's a great way to beat the heat, have fun, and save money. :)

Now, I have to go prepare for another busy weekend...A basketball game, a baby shower, a birthday party, church, and Father's Day!
