Double Award Double the Fun

On, October 7, 2010, the day before Ryder's actual birthday, he was chosen from his class to receieve the "Self Discipline Award"  for the month of September. We were SO proud of him.  Each month two students are are chosen, and this month Ryder and and his little buddy Josie were chosen-she is our car pool buddy who is in our same Ward at church, and they are hilarious together. :)

I know Ryder is huge, but this picture shows you why I call her his "Little Buddy."  They think it is hialrious, and they walk around telling each other, "Hey there little buddy!" LOL

Later that month, Kaden receieved the "Citizenship Award" for the month of October!  We were so thrilled!  It was so much fun to have had both boys chosen so close together.  Kaden's assembly, was also extra special because his second grade class-along with two others-were also in charge of the performance.  They did a play based off of the book Shake Them Halloween Bones.  Kaden also performed Michael Jackson's THRILLER!

Mark and I volunteered to help decorate the stage.  We worked together, along with three other Mom's, for about three weeks.  I think it came out great!

Here is picture of Brooklynne and her big brother.  Brooklynne had her preschool Halloween Party that day which is why she is dressed up-again.

Ryder, Kaden, and his buddies from class.

Kaden and his buddy Matthew.

*I am trying my BEST to get my clip of Kaden performing THRILLER loaded.  I hope I can because it is so much fun to watch!*

I am SO proud of my two big boys.  Each year, I am amazed at how much they have grown.  They are the best sons I could ever ask for-with a little brother and sister following in there footsteps.  They are amazing big brothers, and I couldn't be anymore proud of there success at school.

Keep up the hard work boys!  We love you.

Go Ryder and Kaden! It really does amaze me how big they are getting now. It just kills me to think that Kaden used to be in my sunbeam class and now he's this big boy!

Wow! How fun they got their awards so close - I agree, you should be proud. And GOOD JOB on that stage - you guys are a great team and it looked so great!

Yay for you, because the stage looked awesome. And yay for your boys for being award winning students.

Also, I don't know how I missed a post before, but I love how Brooklynne improvised with her Minnie Mouse shoes. I definitely agree that costumes are FUN but I can only do it full out once or twice, and then the extra touches and details start to slip.
